My name is Sofia, and I am reaching out today with a heartfelt plea for support in pursuing my dream of becoming a lawyer. Currently, I am a first-year law student at Hugh Wooding Law School, and while I have come so far, I am now facing a significant financial hurdle that threatens to halt my journey.

The cost of attending law school is $44,000 per year, and I was fortunate to win a $20,000 scholarship, which helped me cover half of my first year’s fees. However, as the semester progresses, I find myself stuck, with no clear way to secure the remaining funds for this year and the entire second year ahead.

I don’t have parents or a financial safety net to lean on. Every step I’ve taken so far has been fueled by my determination to succeed, but now, I’ve run out of options. This is why I’ve turned to this platform for help.

Law has always been my passion, not just as a career but as a way to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I want to use my skills to advocate for justice and support those who need it most. But in order to achieve that, I need to complete my education.
