The Caribbean School of Dancing was founded in 1957 by Marcia Mose. Over its 65 year history the school has grown as a household name synonymous with excellence in dance. Caribbean School is more than just a school of dancing. While we take immense pride in the success of our students who enjoy professional dance careers both at home and abroad, we are also proud of our sense of community; the long-standing relationships that continue to flourish, the continued drive for excellence in unearthing the talents of each student and the desire to first and foremost spread the joy of dance are the values on which CSD is built. Through these teachings and the discipline of an education in dance, we aim to produce well-rounded members of society who are equipped with the tools to be successful.
While managing the disastrous effects on our community by the Covid-19 pandemic, we continued to provide learning and growing opportunities for our students. As we mark our 65th Anniversary we call on our strong and powerful community to band together to ensure a continued place for our school for many more years to come. A contribution toward Caribbean School of Dancing is an investment in the future of not only dance, but of the young, fresh, intelligent and talented minds that will contribute to Trinidad and Tobago's rich culture and society.
