Young Trinidadian, Chayil Davis, is among the top five Caribbean and Latin American students selected by the Berlin School of Business and Innovation and the University of the Creative Arts in the United Kingdom to study Graphic Design in Hamburg, Germany, based on a portfolio competition.
Ms Davis beat out other contenders in the region for the award of a partial scholarship covering 50 per cent of the cost of the programme. The young eighteen year old designer is a former Bishop Anstey East student who has excelled at Information Technology, Art, and Digital Media at both the CSEC and CAPE levels.

For the next four years, Chayil must find:
-Tuition € 22,000; and
-Accommodation, study materials and other living expenses in the amount € 120,000.
