As a mom my heart goes out to this precious family. A house fire is nothing you can hide from children or even minimize the effects that it may have on the children. It is real, it is devastating and it is a loss.
On September 28th 2020 almost two years ago, this family, a mom and two kids lost their entire home due to a fire ?. A fire that took everything! As a community I want to band together and raise the funds to rebuild this home and more importantly a place of security for the children of this family. As the scriptures says what is taken away, God will restore.
The kids ages ranges from 6 and 12 years of age. The family is currently residing with other family members and as helpful and wonderful and a blessing as that is, at the end of the day this family needs a home and we can do!
The estimated cost to start to rebuild at $70,000.00 that's far less than what an actual home cost now in 2022!!! If 70 people donated $100.00 that could be $7000.00 right there, unbelievable! I imagine local businesses, lumber yards donating material, or even people donating more than $100.00
The goal is absolutely attainable and even more; to know that you are a part of the children's lives for the better is piece of mind does not hold a price tag.
I wish for the mother of these children to lay at peace tonight knowing that her community is standing behind her and that we as a whole have her back and this could have happened to anybody; but in the end what is produced will be bigger and better. That one day she will be in her own kitchen again cooking the greatest meal for herself and her children!
The goal for this is to raise $70,000.00 needed to start rebuilding their home. That another year will not go by without ground being broken on the homesite. Before September 28th, 2022 my hope is for their home to be complete!
