The BPL Cricket Academy was established in 2019 with the aim of fostering youth and national development through sport. It is no secret that the youth sport is constantly left on the back burner leaving no avenues for young people to practice, showcase and develop their sporting talent.

It has been recognised that many youths within the community of Barrackpore and its environs are keen to develop their sporting skills but lack the avenues to undertake such due to their financial backgrounds amongst other factors. As a result, our academy was established to cater to the needs of these youths along with anyone with an interest in developing their sporting. Our academy provides coaching to all young people free of charge.

We are excited to announce that in 2022, we would be participating in the Mississaugua International Cricket Festival which runs from July 23rd to August 1st, 2022. In keeping with our philosophy, we are proud to be given such an oppourtunity which would help our young team to further develop their skills and showcase their by playing amongst various foreign teams from Canada, USA, Sri Lanka & Guyana.

With this in mind, we are hereby seeking your assistance in making this a reality and success and we give kids a once in a lifetime oppourtunity which they are truly excited about.
