The mission for Sunflower Academy is to create an atmosphere where children learn basic life skills through academics, play, and self-constructed experiences.
There is a high demand for inclusion within the education system where children with learning disabilities and disorders are concerned. There is also a high demand for teachers with the patience and gifts to assist in this area.
At Sunflower Academy, we provide an environment where all learning types are welcomed. We aim to offer services that are hard to come by, especially at an affordable rate. It is our hope to eventually sponsor low income families who are in need of such services.
One of our main goals is to offer workshops and counseling for parents. We help them understand the needs of their kids with disorders, and teach them how to cope with daily challenges, all while nurturing their young ones into vibrant, hopeful sunflowers, that search for sunlight even in darkness.
By helping us fund this Academy, you are supporting families who are in need of childcare services, as well as, providing them with the tools necessary for succeeding in life.
