IMPORTANT NOTICE:
YOUR CARD STATEMENT WILL SHOW AS BLUE GURUZ INC.
Gordon holds the true essence of a 9 year old boy, full of energy; loves to swim, practice karate and play video games.
In December of 2019 (just before the Christmas holidays) Gordon was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Anemia called Aplastic Anemia.
Aplastic Anemia is an autoimmune disease in which the body fails to produce blood cells in sufficient numbers. Blood cells are produced in the bone marrow by stem cells that reside there. Aplastic Anemia causes a deficiency of all blood cell types: red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
Currently, Gordon is warded at Wendy Fitzwilliam Paediatric Hospital, Mt. Hope, Trinidad. The doctors are doing their best to manage his symptoms. His treatment involves the highest strength of antibiotics, regular platelets and blood transfusions. However, the ultimate cure is receiving a Bone Marrow Transplant.
Unfortunately, this operation is not offered in Trinidad. Gordon needs to be sent abroad, however the surgery is extremely expensive. We are seeking to raise $600,000 USD to cover Gordon's Bone Marrow Transplant and hospital fees.
This is a heartfelt plea to all who can assist in whatever way possible; a little will be blessed and will be multiplied.
Donations can also be made payable to First Citizens Bank Account No# 2685239 in the name of Gordon-Lee Chin.
God Bless.
Yours Sincerely,
Cindy & Gordon.
