My name is Rhea-Simone Auguste (Performer name Simmy the Trini) and I am a single mom of two wonderful boys. We live in a rural part of Gran Couva where taxis and maxis and buses don't pass and walking to the main stretch is several miles of lonely road.

I rely heavily on my car, Betsy, as she was named by my mom. The car I am sentimental about as my mom helped me to get it before she passed away in 2017. So while upgrading would be wonderful, I really can't afford to right now and I want to try to keep Betsy for as long as I am able.

Last Friday, Betsy's engine had a seizure and died. RIP Betsy's engine. Funeral details are unclear at this time as she is stuck in Cascade and I am stuck in Gran Couva. Before this, Betsy had some suspension issues to address.that I was working towards fixing. The cost to tow her to my mechanic in Marabella and the estimate for all critical repairs is $12000+.
