I am Allyson James Sutherland, and I am 59 years of age. I have been diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis in my left knee. I have suffered with pain in my left knee for over 7 years. But as a simple minded human and a woman with age I thought that I was just suffering with arthritis in my knee. About a year ago I was told after seeking the advice of doctors in the public sector, that I would require to have knee replacement surgery done. A year later after having them perform two (2) surgeries and two (2) manipulation proceedures done on my knee, to date I have not be able to walk without the assistance of a walker or without extreme pain. Seeking a second opinion and realising that my knee was not getting any better I turned to the private sector, there i was told that my implant has become infected and needs to be removed and replaced immediately. I am very afraid that I will lose my leg. Unable to make the sum of surgery on my own, I am seeking your kind assistance to get the surgery I need to be able to able to walk and be free of pain.
