Just days before turning 40, my sister, Dana Sundarsingh, was diagnosed with Appendiceal Cancer. This is a very rare and aggressive form of cancer, which requires a treatment that cannot be done in Trinidad and Tobago.
We've been informed that the treatment known as Cytoreductive Surgery with HIPEC Chemotherapy costs 200,000 USD.
Dana is a single mother to a five-year-old girl and a teacher at Fyzabad Secondary School. She's been hospitalized since August while on TPN (Total Parental Feeding) because she's unable to eat or drink anything.
We are asking for your help to get Dana to Colombia urgently so she can receive the medical treatment she desperately needs. Any contribution, big or small will help us at this moment.

With a heavy heart, I must share the heartbreaking news of my sister's passing. Dana Sundarsingh lost her battle to cancer on Saturday 10th October 2020.

We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all their love, support, and generosity during this difficult time. Dana will always be in our hearts.
