My name is Josiah Paul and I am a citizen and resident of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. I am eighteen years of age and attended elementary school at Newtown Boys RC School in Port Of Spain, Trinidad. After spending five years at Newtown, I graduated and attended high school at Tranquility Government Secondary School for another five years, accomplishing my high school certificate.I started playing football at the age of six and developed a passion
for the game, at the age of ten, I was selected to represent my elementary school in the Primary Schools’ Football League, helping my team to placed second in the league in, 2013 I also represented my high school in the Secondary Schools Football League at all levels; twelve and under, fourteen and under, sixteen and under and nineteen and under during my stay, and won Player of the Year award in, 2018 My aspiration is to accomplish a tertiary education and as such, registration documents were submitted and I was accepted to attend Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York,United States. I am advised by the head soccer coach that based on his viewing of my video clips and my playing experience, I will be included on the soccer team to represent the college.This will allow me the opportunity to realize my dream to play college soccer and maybe even go further in the sport after I obtain my degree.The cost to attend Hudson Valley Community College for one year
is $28’000.00U.S. I have establish this account as a means of soliciting funds to defray the cost to attend college and because my parents are of meager means and unable to help me financially. Any assistance offered, will go a long way in helping me to accomplish my goal in getting a tertiary education and make a positive contribution to society.
