Hi, I am Riaz Ramcharitar I was diagnosed in 2014 with early onset Parkinson's disease now it has progressed and I am at the maximum dose of medication and the side effects is more than it helping one of the 3 medications $1840 per month so as a last resort my neurologist sent me to a movement specialist in Columbia after the assessment the diagnosis was Parkinson's disease and I am a good candidate for ( DBS )deep brain stimulation surgery,the assessment cost 5000us plus airfare and hotel accommodation for two, which I used most of my savings, now the DBS surgery cost is $65000us plus airfare and hotel accommodation for 1 month,I have 2 daughters one is 13 and the other is 17 years, my wife has a job but school expenses, food,and bills one salary can only go so far ,my girls need a better functioning father and my wife needs help from her husband, there's no cure but DBS surgery is the best treatment for me now to live a more independent and helpful life for my family, so please help me achieve this goal.
