With a heavy heart we announce sadly, the passing of our dear friend and colleague, for whom this campaign was originally set up.
Funds received will go towards the oustanding medical bills incurred and for whatever expenses Mrs Efienemokwu has outstanding. She sends her appreciation to all of you who have shown her family your kindness and love by your various generous contributions.

This is a fund raiser for our friend and colleague Dr. Jones Efienemokwu, Doctor of Optometry and past president of the Trinidad and Tobago Optometrists Association, an influential figure in charting the way for Optometry in Nigeria; who has directly or indirectly touched our lives by his humane personality and willingness to help any one that crosses his path.
He has also been very active in various community development programs, local and international.

Dr. Jones was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of Colon cancer which has now spread to his liver.

He is presently on admission in a hospital in the United States undergoing treatment and the medical bills are piling.

This is a clarion call to help raise at least US$350,000 ($2,415,000 TTD) to help save Dr. Jones' life as he battles Colon cancer.
