Youth unemployment is high in communities of East Port-of-Spain. Simultaneously, crime and deviance in the communities are very high. Social vulnerability in the communities due to limited opportunites and pressing demands for needs ssatisfaction also drive up the homicide incidences as competition for scarce resources becomes fatal. Past research identified that self-efficacy assists youth to build resilience in difficult times. Empowerment through Agriculture and Training allows youth to become entrepreneurs and develop self-sufficency. To establish this program requires equipment and stocks for hands-on training. Please assist the youth by giving generously to the skills-training program.
