Good Evening . I left Trinidad ( for the 1st time ) for my 1st big surgery (Surgery date 09-01-2020) and being there all alone , i had to take care of myself after having my surgery it was on my chest . I wasn't able to work , move my arms or do anything at all especially packing up my bags to head back to Trinidad asap to work again , which took me months because even the lightest item for me was extremely heavy and so I had to take my time. On 12-15-2020 , i finally got my exemption approval after months applying to re-enter Trinidad . All the info they asked for and more I already had . Due to not working and having to sacrifice every bill I had to pay in order to get to Trinidad , I looked for the cheapest one way flight to one of the Caribbean Airlines repatriation flights destinations so I choosed Curacao (€700 close to $6000.TT ) and when someone called the Minister Of National Security office on behalf of me ( I can't make or recieve calls only WhatsApp ) to confirm that flight to Trinidad , the minister's office said that they do not do repatriation flights from Curacao even thou Caribbean Airlines STILL up to this day has Curacao up on their repatriation flight list . Even thou I email them about it , nothing was done but for me , I lost all that money because the airlines ( KLM ) wasn't doing refunds . The only flight left before another strict lockdown in London for me to transit from the Netherlands was on the 16th Jan 2021 .( Cost of that oneway ( €1700.00 close to $14000.TT ) I'm now remained with €1000.00. I'm grateful to be back in the Caribbean but I'm not yet home where i belong and now I have to go through the same procedure again to get another test & contacting the minister to reach home. On the same day of my flight , there was a flight with Caribbean Airlines from BGI-POS 8:40pm ( I arrived in Barbados 6:30pm ) and the ministers office just wasn't answering the phone to give me my OK knowing that I was flighing on the same day , already had my 72hours negative prc test ( €200.) and they ignored calls . I am now here in Barbados and now I have to take the rest of the money ( which I could of used to pay for my flight to Trinidad and luggage ) and I have to pay for a quarantine hotel ( 5 days cost ($800) which doesn't include food and everything here is unnecessarily expensive . So until the Minister of national security gives me a flight with Caribbean Airlines to enter my own county , I have to stay in Barbados for 2/3 weeks hoping it wont be more.
