My mom is 76 years of age and has been diagnosed with Cataract in both eyes. She also has Parkinsons. She was diagnosed since 2021 and we have been trying to raise funds but its difficult in these times. She has to go under general anesthetic due to her Parkinsons in order for the surgery to be performed. They will need to do both eyes at the same time because of her age and the general anesthesia.

She has been at the EWMSC Clinic for a number of years and was given an appointment for 2023. This does not mean that the surgery will be done then. The Opthamologist said that she needs to have surgery as soon as possible or may eventually lose her vision in both eyes.

The cost is $45,000.00, and should cover expenses after the procedure such as eye glasses, medication and follow up visits.

Please, its does not matter how little you donate since every little will make a big difference to her.
