Hi, my son's name is Joshua Pegus, and is currently a 17-year-old upper sixth student. Recently I discovered that he has Severe Scoliosis (curvature of the spine) on the 26th of August 2021. I had no prior knowledge about the term and then the doctor told me that surgery was the only option at this point. I was alarmed and immediately began researching and saw that it was possible to reduce the curve with non-surgical treatment in the United States. We hope that he can obtain treatment this June after his CAPE examinations. Presently the curve is 55 degrees and the cost of this treatment is currently way beyond our reach. The estimated cost for a 4-week intensive treatment is $13,780USD ($96,460TTD). If left untreated this can lead to serious health consequences. Joshua has worked hard and excelled academically throughout his life and dreams of becoming a lawyer someday to give a voice to the voiceless. Please help Joshua to overcome this obstacle and continue pursuing his dreams. Any contributions at all would be greatly appreciated.
