Tiajuana Hernandez is a young musician battling with SLE Lupus. It is her dream to further her studies in music education and performance to open a music school in her community. She hopes to inspire other lupus patients and young persons, being an example that no matter what trails you face you should never give up on your dreams. Tiajuana was accepted at Nothern Illinois University school of music, Chicago. She is hoping that she can raise enough funds to be able to take up this opportunity of studying abroad which will push her a step further to accomplishing her goals. She would like to use music to help others through music therapy, self expression and as a discipline. Please support this young musician living with lupus to get the opportunity to study music abroad and become an excellent and qualified educator for our future musicians.
