I’m a young woman from Trinidad and Tobago who is reaching out with hope that someone, somewhere, may be willing to help me get the dental care I desperately need. I’ve been struggling with several dental problems, including damaged and decayed teeth that require professional treatment. Unfortunately, I’m currently unemployed, and my financial situation makes it difficult for me to afford the extensive dental work I need. One of my greatest concerns is getting the proper treatment before my dental problems become worse. I want to take care of my health, restore my smile, and have the opportunity to move forward without constantly worrying about how I’ll afford the care I need. I’m hoping to raise TT$40,867 to help cover my dental expenses. I am still working on obtaining a detailed treatment plan and quotation from my dentist, so the final cost will depend on the procedures recommended. I know there are many people facing difficulties of their own, and I understand that not everyone is in a position to donate. However, if you are able to contribute anything toward my treatment, please know that your kindness would mean so much to me. I’m also happy to discuss having donations paid directly to my dentist, where possible, so contributors can have greater confidence that their support is going toward my dental care. If you cannot donate, sharing my fundraiser with someone who might be able to help would also make a difference. Asking strangers for help isn’t easy, but sometimes we have to put our pride aside and reach out when we cannot manage everything alone. I’m hoping that sharing my story will connect me with kindhearted people who understand how important access to dental care is.
