Hello,
I am a final year Nursing Student and I attend the University of the Southern Caribbean. I am seeking assistance for school fees, traveling expenses, examination fees/supplies, and other miscellaneous items. Due to the school being a private institution, I do not recieve stipend and all school fees are paid out of pocket because GATE does not cover it.
My mother, who was the sole provider for me was laid off from work over a year ago, and has had a hard time sourcing income due to her age and disabilities. Although she is unemployed, she still decided to use the last of her savings so I could continue to pursue nursing. She refused to let me drop out, and demanded that I focus on school and nothing else. Unfortunately, funds have officially finished out so we have run out of options.
I am a hardworking, dedicated student. I've made the schools dean’s list, I've maintained perfect attendance, and strictly A's & B's throughout the years. I'm near the end of my journey, and pray that I acquire the funds so I could graduate with my colleagues, take my nursing council exams and become a registered nurse.
