This fundraising campaign is for Ann, a beloved and devoted mother, wife, and grandmother, who is in urgent need of crucial eye surgery. Ann has been struggling with Type II Diabetes for several years. One of the most devastating effects of the diabetes is that her eyesight has been severely impaired.

She has sought out different treatments over the years in the hopes of fixing her failing eyesight, but ultimately, they have not worked.

It’s now at the point where she is almost completely blind. Ann, who is usually an active, vibrant, and independent person, now has to be assisted in all her daily activities. And as a senior citizen, she can no longer enjoy her free time doing her favourite hobbies like reading, cooking, gardening, or watching movies. Even worse, she can barely see her family member’s faces anymore.

Ann needs to get urgent surgery on her right eye, the most damaged of the two. The cost is $36,000.00. We're also raising funds for her post-operative care and interventions.
