Help Me Achieve My Dream of Becoming a Certified Dance Teacher


Hi, my name is Julie Chrysostom, and I’m reaching out with an open heart to ask for your support on a journey that means the world to me.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a deep love for dance. But growing up in a children’s home without the support of a family or access to opportunities, I never got the chance to truly explore or develop my passion.

As I grew older and stepped into adulthood, I continued to face life without the foundation of family backing. Despite the challenges, I worked hard and made sacrifices to pursue my dreams. And now, I’ve been given a chance to finally follow the calling that’s been in my heart for so long—dance.

Through the incredible mentorship of Mr. Delanon Manganoo—renowned Ballroom Dance Champion, Life Coach, Theatre Arts Director, Pageant Director, and Lecturer at the Caribbean Dance Teachers (CDT) program—I have been given an opportunity to not only learn to dance, but also to teach it.

For me, teaching is more than a profession. It's a form of self-discovery and healing. It’s how I grow, give back, and create space for others like me—people who didn’t have the easiest start but still dare to dream.

I am currently enrolled in the Caribbean Dance Teachers Associate Degree (CDT) program and need to raise $10,000 TT to complete my exams and graduate in 2025. These funds will cover my tuition balance, exam fees, and related academic expenses.
