Parbatie Dipnarine, a hardworking, loving, selfless mother of 4, has never met an obstacle she could not overcome. Continuously striving to provide the best for her family, even after my father had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The responsibility of main provider fell on her shoulders, and even now she continues to be the glue that holds this family together.
My mother is known is take care of herself and health, however, in 2021, she was suddenly diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease. Her world took a drastic turn, and she transitioned into lifestyle she had never known about. Forced to quit her job and undergo dialysis sessions 3 times a week, my mother was anything but one to give in to her illness, and so, she continued to still manage the household. Despite multiple infections, clinic visits, hospital stays and many complications, my mother doesn’t quit. Her determination and strength continues to influence us and now we are at a point in this journey where my mother can return to a life of normalcy if she were to undergo a kidney transplant.
This procedure is solely being done through the Eric Williams Medical Science Complex, however, in order to expedite the surgery, multiple private tests both for her and the donor (my father) need to be done and are beyond what our family can afford.
We are asking for your assistance in giving my mother, Parbatie, whom I would say is the best mother a child can ask for, a second chance at life. Any donation will go in along way in helping us through this process. Thank you.
