Executive Summary

As a former professional surfer and national champion from Trinidad and Tobago, I founded the Jason Apparicio Surf Academy (JASA), an academy dedicated to elevating young surfers to professional heights. We take immense pride in our record of success, notably in nurturing the 2022 and 2023 Men’s surfing champions on the European Tour for aspiring professional surfers. Additionally, the academy has earned recognition as the premier European coaching entity in 2023 for level-ii surfers. These accomplishments underscore my specialized expertise and unique aptitude for discovering and nurturing latent potential and talent in emerging surfers.

"WhoDeCapFit" is a charity program, under the patronage of JASA, dedicated to nurturing financially challenged, gifted young surfers. The program offers top tiered coaching and athlete development, financed through innovative crowd-funding initiatives whilst leveraging professional industry connections to foster the growth and success of these emerging talents.

Cheyenne, at 12 years old, has dominated the French surfing events and is making history with every competition she enters, clinching the top spot in France's under-12 surfing category and making a splash on the European circuit, with six (6) contest wins in her seven (7) finals appearances.

Following the inclusion of surfing into the Olympic events lineup, Cheynnne aims to make history by becoming Trinidad & Tobago's inqugural Olympic surfer.

Her brother Chayton, at only 9 years old, is the youngest T&T Junior National champion ever, carving his own path with a determination that belies his years. Full of life and unbounded enthusiasm, he is ready to follow in his sister's auspicious wake.
