This year, 2025, has been the most trying year. It began with my dad being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in late January and leaving this world in early February. My dad has been ill for some years. In 2012, he had renal failure, which lead to me giving him one of my kidneys. Then there were other illnesses until his passing in February. Through it all, I managed to take care of him and balance my life. While he was ill in 2024, I noticed that I was tired and losing weight, but I thought it was due to the hectic lifestyle. After my dad's death, I continued to be exhausted and kept on losing weight. June of this year, I decided to get some tests done. There were some abnormalities, so an ultrasound was required. On July 8th 2025, I felt my world crashing. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer which had already spread to both ovaries, right lobe of the liver and adrenaline gland. I can't explain how I felt over the next couple days. I am now on chemo and have one kidney. I went from having a normal life, working, enjoying life with my 10 year old daughter, being active to being told you are on palliative care and have to do chemo for as long as you want to. Apparently my only option at this time is chemo, not surgery. Chemo is taking a toll on my body. Life has changed drastically. I lost a lot of weight, feel tired all the time, my blood count and white blood cells are low all the time. Trying to fight, for my daughter, for my family, for me. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated
