Wendell Bleasdell has managed to produce a full album in 2007 entitled “Caribbean Funset: A Panman Experience”, his first CD compilation which brilliantly showcases his versatility. Among the countries his talent has afforded him the opportunity to travel and perform, Wendell can boast of shows throughout the Caribbean including Barbados, Jamaica and many other cities in the Caribbean Islands. Fast forward to present day, “Jumper” currently attends both The University of Trinidad and Tobago and The Trinity All Generation Schools of The Arts. He is also pursuing studies in Music Theory and Practical Sight Reading while gaining exposure to other musical instruments and genres. The Steel Pan, however remains his first love and his main focus throughout his blossoming career. Ever the generous soul, Wendell also finds the time to share his knowledge with the younger generation, teaching various Pan techniques while maintaing and promoting a greater love, respect and appreciation for the art form.
