Hi! I am Keon Francis and i’ve written a book! Not just any book, a children’s book that presents our Caribbean folk characters in a friendly format that’s perfect for your five to eight year old child, god child, grand child, sibling’s child or loved one. The book is called, ‘Papa Bois Saves Christmas’, and tells the tale of how, one Christmas, Papa Bois found himself up at the North pole to help Santa Claus save Christmas.

“Oh no,” said Mrs Claus. “Nothing I do is working Santa. I’m afraid I can’t get you better before Christmas.”
“There, there, if you can’t get me better, no one can,” Santa said consoling her.
“Maybe by Christmas Eve,” Mrs Claus said. “But right now you’re too ill to make sure the elves make all the gifts, much less to go sliding down chimneys.”
The thought made Santa and Mrs Claus very sad.
“I know!” Cried Mrs Claus, suddenly getting an idea. “You can ask your Caribbean cousin Papa Bois to help us get ready.”

“You’re right,’ Santa answered, as he got on his magic phone and video called Papa Bois. “He loves the children as much as I do.”
“Of course I’ll help!” Papa said when he answered. “Leave it to me.”


Without another word Papa packed up his things and called a Cloud Share to take him to the North Pole.

It is a simple but fun filled story, with bright pictures that I know your bundle of joy will love. The thing is I can’t afford to publish this book on my own so I’m asking for your help. My goal is to get 250 donations at TT$100 here on Fundmetnt by November 22, 2026. I’m not asking for a handout, I’m asking for an investment in our culture.

Then, once I make the target minimum, I will mail you a first run copy of the story book as a thank you for your early support. That’s a first run copy, and one Christmas gift on your list delivered straight to your door.
