My name is Timothy Rogers and I am Obese. 
Due to abuse I experienced in my childhood I went into a destructive cycle of hiding my pain with food. At the age of 13 years old I was told by doctors that I was Obese. I weighed in at 374lbs at 13 years old. I have been through several programmes to address my mental health with the issues and have made some progress.. Unfortunately, I got to a body weight of almost 800 pounds. In the past 3 years I have lost a collective of almost 300lbs but my loss has not been consistent and I always find myself gaining rather than losing. The doctors say my weight is now affecting the organs of my body, especially my heart. They have recommended a rapid intervention of a Lap Band Procedure to save my life.
