Hello everyone,
My name is Aseema Hackett, I am 18 years of age and the eldest of six children. I have been accepted to pursue a bachelor degree in nursing for 4 years at the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC).
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the situation here in Trinidad, earning money was quite a challenge for many citizens including my family. It became a strain on my parents because not only me that they have to support but also my five younger siblings. They also have to provide for our basic needs.
Seeing and observing the sacrifices that my parents had to make for me, the prayers that have been prayed and the mercies and guidance from God, gave me the push and drive to work harder and to even be a positive role model and influence to my younger siblings.
The intention for this campaign is to raise funds for my tuition fees.
