The performing arts industry has experienced quite a strain over the last year and a half due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Having closed the doors of both our studios (Woodbrook and Curepe), we were tasked with the challenge of finding ways to encourage our dancers to continue their training online. Our annual end of year school productions have been a significant motivator for persons wanting to experience performing, however due to the lockdown restrictions, we were unable to showcase at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) as in previous years. It is our hope that we can still bring our performances to you, this time in the comfort and safety of your own homes.
Our virtual production "Release" will showcase our students in all our classes including dancers from 3 1/2 years of age straight up to our adult members. It will represent our way of releasing the pent up frustration that we have all been experiencing during these difficult times. Our teachers and choreographers have been working tirelessly to ensure that our performers have the opportunity to dance for you, our friends, our family and our supporters.
For our donors in Trinidad and Tobago, your contribution will qualify for a tax allowance as the company is registered with the National Registry of Artists within the Ministry of Arts and Culture.
