This small shrine, believed to be the meditative abode of Deity Kataragama, holds significant spiritual importance. Unlike the bustling Kataragama Devalaya, Maha Kebiliththa attracts only the most devoted followers due to its stringent preparation requirements and remote location. This project aims to create a comprehensive video documentary that captures the essence, spiritual significance, and unique rituals associated with Maha Kebiliththa Devalaya.
2. Project Objectives

Document and Preserve: Capture the serene beauty and spiritual ambiance of Maha Kebiliththa Devalaya.

We are in the process of producing a documentary called "Spiritual Journey to Maha Kabilitta Temple: Uncovering the Hidden Shrine of God Kataragama". This documentary aims to capture the sacred beauty, spiritual significance and unique rituals associated with Maha Kabilitta Vihara, a deeply sacred shrine within Sri Lanka's Yala National Park. To achieve high quality production standards, we take the support of camera equipment, lighting equipment and related gear.
Getting these equipments on rental basis incurs huge cost. Although we are not making a financial contribution through this proposal, we also greatly appreciate donations of equipment. Especially those devices will be useful for us for future projects as well. We can cover the cost of staff. Consider donating equipment. Not all equipment needs to be new, used equipment is fine.
