First off thank you for your interest! My name is Tamara Yuklin Fook and I established and registered Mothers of Angels Foundation in November 2018. This campaign seeks to raise funds to help alleviate the costs of some of the services and products (ie support meetings and donations to Hospital) the foundation will provide over the next year to those in need. The foundation was inspired by the passing of my 2 month old son, my first born, my angel, Zane Ethan Pradeep Subance.

My foundation was created with 3 main goals.

1. To use social media to offer motivation to those struggling with this loss while raising awareness of miscarriages, stillbirths and infant loss. We aim to remove the stigma attached to talking openly about this immeasurable loss and help deal with depression, PTSD and help prevent more devastating outcomes.

2. To provide support services, to mothers struggling to cope, by way of in person group meetings and online chats.

3. To give back to other women on this difficult journey as well as to the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) of our local Hospitals.

To date, in addition to online support, the Mothers of Angels Foundation has hosted uplifting support meetings and most recently received permission and proudly donated blankets and footprint cards to the NICU of San Fernando General Hospital. We have committed to donating 500 of these blankets and 500 of these footprint cards to Hospital annually. We have so much we want to do to give back to the tiny babies fighting for their chance at life as well as the strong women who carried and birthed them. With YOUR HELP it is possible!

Thus far, the efforts of the foundation have been 100% self financed but persons have expressed interest in helping out, and, with the growing number of women interested in the support services we provide as well as the many ideas for improvement at NICU we believe we can better achieve our goals with the help of those who believe in this cause.
