Firstly, we are NOT a political party. The name "The Picong Party" is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the political banter that occurs in the political landscape, but the organization aims to be nothing more than an unbiased source of information, collating and analyzing data that is provided by the EBC, CBTT, CSO and other reputable sources, and make it easy to understand and accessible to the general population.

The political data of Trinidad and Tobago is pretty well documented, but can be cumbersome and unwieldy to navigate. The Picong Party aims to collate and present this data in a simpler format for the everyday Trinbagonian to understand. The intention is not only to compile this information, breaking it down so that it is easily understood, but also to create politically-informed voters charged with the future of our nation.

We have existed since 2020, and since then, this website has been entirely self funded by our founder, Duane Swift. Operating costs for this website regularly go up to $500 TTD a month, and well over that during an election cycle.
