Hi friends!
I am sending this to those I believe know me to a degree and know that I have spent the last 10 years working so hard to outgrow the circumstances of life in a small country and with limited resources. I have so far been able to earn my BA and start my brand and I work now toward sustainable business development and to help others similar to me. My goal is to make Trinidad, in some small way, be a good place for creative young people and I intend to do so by establishing a beautiful people building business in the fashion industry.
I am coming to you as I have been given a wonderful opportunity! I have been accepted to persue my Masters in the Business of Fashion. This would help me in so many ways. It would firstly be an experience for me that I never dreamed possible, it would also, and more importantly equip me with the skills I need to achieve my goals locally. I am going to use this education as a practical guide to establish my plan for a fashion production factory at home alongside the further development of my own brand which I hope to showcase as a representation of our beautiful country.
I am hoping the raise funds for my 50% tuition and I plan to continue working to cover my own living expenses for the year while there. I hope that you see this as me asking for help to help myself as well as others and possibly as a small investment into the future of what dreams may be.
