THE MISSION IS POSSIBLE!
We are seeking $450K to go towards the purchase of land for the Faith, Hope & Love Centre, at Point Cumana, Carenage.
OUR STORY
In January 1996, the inaugural service of the Faith, Hope and Love Centre (FHLC) was held following a vision placed on the hearts of the leaders of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies (PAWI).
The church, under the leadership of a missionary couple, Reverends Dale and Karen Preiser, started with approximately 25 persons, with the purpose of positively impacting communities in western Trinidad. With the passing of Reverend Dale Preiser in April 1998, Reverend Samuel Mayeski, from Pennsylvania, USA then headed the church.
FHLC continued to grow with attendees coming from different parts of the country and was eventually relocated to Cinema 1 at Movie Towne, Port of Spain. In October 2005, Pastor Mayeski returned to the USA and Pastor Don Hamilton became the first local pastor of the Faith, Hope & Love Centre.
FHLC began a period of consolidation with a strong emphasis on the Ministry of the Word and refashioning the understanding of the Great Commission. FHLC now has missionaries spreading the gospel locally, regionally, and internationally.
The church has continued its dynamic growth and is in the process of completing the land acquisition phase to fulfil its original vision of being a Worship and Missions Centre. For this we need your support.
