The Denyse Plummer Foundation has taken the initiative to embark on our first mission of goodwill.
A young man by the name of Joey Josh Felician, 30 years of age, is in urgent need of assistance in order to save his eyesight from advanced cataract (see page 2). Joey makes efforts daily selling fruits in Maraval and insists on making an honest living. However, he requires assistance to count money and accomplish other necessary tasks. Public health has proposed a year before he can receive any assistance, by which time Joey will be totally blind. The DPF is proposing to pay for this procedure privately and immediately at a cost of TT$13, 400.00 per eye at Dr. Boysie Mahabir’s office in LCM. Any assistance you may be willing to provide would go a long way in changing the course of this young man’s life.
