Hello Everyone. My name is Amanda and most of you are aware of the many challenges I face with being diagnosed with a rare disease, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. This will be the 7th procedure I am having done.

A couple months ago, we detected Femoroacetabular Impingement in my right hip and I was referred for physical therapy. While in therapy, my symptoms worsened and I began having trouble walking, sitting and standing. After further testing, and eliminating other causes, I have also been diagnosed with Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction, which is the improper movement of my joints at the bottom of my spine that connect the sacrum to the pelvis.

Treatment for my pain will involve fluoroscopy-guided injections directly into both of my sacroiliac joints. After the procedure, I will be hospitalized for the day.

While I am excited to begin treatment, my medical bills over the last few months have caused financial strain. I am kindly asking for any donations to help offset the neurosurgical and hospital fees. Any assistance, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.

I am eager to safely resume doing the things I love - continuing to save the lives of many abandoned felines!
