My name is Seany, and I’m reaching out with humility and hope during one of the most difficult times of my life.
Recently, my fiancée and I were involved in a serious road traffic accident while I was riding my e-bike. A driver struck us, leaving both of us injured and my bike completely destroyed. After the impact, we were left in pain, shaken, and facing a reality we were not prepared for.
We made an official police report and have witnesses. Unfortunately, the individuals responsible have since blocked our calls and are refusing to take responsibility or provide compensation for our injuries, medical expenses, or the damage done.
Since the accident, I have been experiencing:
Severe back and leg pain
Weakness and instability when putting weight on my leg
Chest discomfort and pressure
Ongoing head and neck pain
Symptoms consistent with a serious concussion
Increased pain when coughing or sneezing
These symptoms have made it extremely difficult to work. I am currently unable to return to my job due to the physical pain and mobility issues. My fiancée is also recovering and supporting me as best as she can.
Because of this accident:
We have lost our primary mode of transportation (my e-bike)
We are unable to earn income at the moment
Rent of $6,500 TT plus utilities is due
Our landlord has given us two weeks to pay or vacate
Our food supplies are running low
We have no financial backup or family safety net
We are doing everything we can to stay strong and proactive, including exploring legal action. But right now, we urgently need help to stabilize our situation.
We are asking for support to cover:
Rent and essential utilities
Groceries and basic living expenses
Medical evaluations, scans, and treatment
Transportation
Replacement of the destroyed e-bike so I can return to work once medically cleared
