This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to write, but I'm choosing to be honest. Late last year, I lost my job. Since then, l've been applying for work constantly, but despite my efforts, I haven't been able to find a job. As a single parent, I fell behind on my bills and became desperate. Earlier this year, I made the difficult decision to engage in sex work for a short period to catch up on my financial obligations. It wasn't something I ever intended to do long-term, and I stopped as soon as I was able to clear off a few bills and debts including school related fees for my child and have still been searching for a job. Despite taking precautions every time, I've recently learned that I'm pregnant. After giving it a lot of thought, I know that I am not in a position financially and emotionally to continue this pregnancy, especially since the father may be unknown. As a single parent who is still unemployed, I simply cannot provide for another child, and I have decided that terminating the pregnancy is the most responsible decision for my circumstances. I understand that not everyone will agree with my decision, and I accept that. I'm not asking anyone to change their beliefs or to judge mine. I'm simply asking for compassion. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the cost of the procedure. So l am asking If anyone is willing and able to help, whether through a donation or by sharing this post, I would be deeply grateful.
