For most of my life I have known my Mom - Greta Sosa to be an energetic, vibrant and busy woman. Now at 84, she has slowed down a bit (I stress on the word a bit - LOL) especially after her hip surgery a few years ago. Mom is now struggling with her vision due to cataracts.

My brothers and I want to ensure thay she has the required surgery in the soonest possible time which will prevent her from falling and hurting herself. Mom was referred to the eye clinic, but we know how our public health care system works, so the lengthy time we have to wait to get an appointment is ridiculous.

Mom took care of us and now its our turn to return that love and care to ensure that she is happy, comfortable and regains her independence.
