Supporting our dream of a home and sustainable income through online tutoring and app development

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out to you today to ask your support. My name is Ingrid Superville, a 54-year-od single mother and former Secondary School Teacher who has faced many challenges over the past few decades. After losing my job due to Panic Attacks in 2013, I lost all my savings and struggled to find steady work. (I was diagnosed with Panic Attcaks in 2005.I get Panic Attacks when commuting or when I am travelling in a car).

Despite my best efforts, including offering Piano Lessons at home (from 2013 to 2018) and developing mobile apps through my home based business called Chipo Computer Solutions, I have yet to achieve financial stability. I have mobile apps for sale on the Amazon AppStore. I have had these apps for sale since 2017. I operate Chipo Computer Solutions from a desk in my small bedroom at home and it is proving difficult. I am hoping to be able to give High School Mathematics EXTRA tuition to students ONLINE, because i want to use the monies from this to fund Chipo Computer Solutions (like advertising), and I aslo want to use the monies from Mathematics Tutroing to pay for a few months rental of my own place - I currently live with my elderly mother. I lost all my savings when I lost my job and was never able to buy my own place. Having a few months rent up front will help me to concentrate on getting a steady stream of students where I can get rental income for future months rent. (Lost of people rent until they die).

My son, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 2019 (the year that COVID 19 occurred), has been a tremendous support. However, his temporary Trainee Teaching Position with the governemnt of Trinidad And Tobago (under the On The Job Trinaining (OJT) programme) recently ended, and he is now seeking employment. We currently live with my elderly mother in a small space, and it is our dream to move into a two-bedroom apartment (or house or townhouse) where we can establish a home office and offer online Mathematics Tutoring in the living room.

To achieve this, I am seeking to raise TT $80,000 (equivalent to about US $11,750) to cover ten months of rent (where I can have the time to build a guaranteed number of students to pay fior rental of our personal home and home-business. NOTE lots of people rent until they die) and to pay off a loan that I took out for my business (called Chipo Computer Solutions), allowing us to focus on building a steady stream of tutoring students and promoting my mobile apps. Your support, no matter how small, will help us secure a better future and create a stable environment for both my son and me.
