Let us celebrate the power and majesty of our women who play the steelpan - the national musical instrument of Trinidad and Tobago - with GIRL POWER, DIAMONDS!
Girl Power, Diamonds is a first of its kind.
The virtual female-only steelpan competition carded for November 20 through December 20, 2020, is conceptualised by Steelpan Authority Woman and Steelpan Authority Music and produced by the Steelpan Authority, organisations with shared objectives to advance the cause of steelpan and its practitioners globally.

Musicians from around the world are invited to register...compete...inspire for great prizes to be awarded through this fund-raiser.
The categories are: Soloist, Duet, Trio and Quartet.
Throughout the steelpan fraternity’s musical history, men have primarily been in the forefront, despite there being female musicians of equal stature. This showcase aims to give our excellent female pannists/musicians the spotlight that they deserve.
