This fundraiser is to aid both cousins, Derrel Garcia and Adam Pierre, who were both selected to travel to Intercity FC, Alicante Spain from April 4th – 20th, 2023, to compete in an international tournament. Their dreams are to become professional football players in the national and international leagues and to be great as their role models, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Renaldo.

They both started playing football at a young age with Cox Football Academy, Palo Seco, where they achieved both local and international accomplishments, having represented Trinidad and Tobago at the MILO International Football League competition, Barcelona, Spain in 2019.

Locally they played and captained their primary school teams to victory at the National Primary School Football competition. Currently they both attend St. Benedict College and played a great role in the teams championship in the 2022 Tiger Tanks SSFL Premier Division.
