Hi I am Marisa. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with Lupus 13 years ago, this is an autoimmune condition that impedes my ability to earn a living. For the past 13 years my husband has been the sole provider for our family. We are blessed with 2 beautiful children Cynara age 14, and Aidan age 13. They both have big dreams of attending university/college.
However we are not in a financial position to fulfill this dream of theirs now or in the near future. They are both attending high school, and they are performing well. Asking for assistance on this platform is a very difficult decision for me, as we have always made do with what we had. They are both hard working children, working towards scholarship assistance. There's only so much the scholarship would cover. As a parent just trying to help my children fulfill their dreams I had no other choice.
