Jay claimed the title of 84kg National and Open Champion after placing 1st in her weight class at the Trinidad and Tobago Powerlifting Federation (TTPF) National Championships in November 2022.

She has since been nominated to represent Trinidad & Tobago at the 2023 North American Regional Powerlifting Championships & NAPF being held in the Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands on August 7th – 12th.
