Hi,

My name is Krystal Ravello-Mills I am a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend and I am 35 years old.

On October 22nd 2021 I had an appointment at the Sangre Grande Health Facility for my eyes. After visiting with the optometrist, I was told that I have Retinal Detachment of the right eye and will be in need of emergency eye surgery to try to restore and save my eye sight. I was then given a referral letter to a specialist as the hospital does not have the means to do the surgery.

On November 6th 2021 it was confirmed by the specialist that I will indeed have to do surgery to my right eye (Right Retinal Detachment with Scleral Buckle) and also to my left eye (Left Cryotherapy) as the same holes that I have in my right eye has started to develop in my left eye, which thankfully has been caught early.

My family has been devastated, terrified and shocked.

After consultation with the specialist and discussions with my family, we have decided to proceed with the surgery. Which is carded for December 8th 2021.

My goal is to acquire as much help as possible to cover both the surgery cost of $50,000.00 and also medication and after care cost of $5,000.00.

My family has been very supportive and positive throughout this process.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated towards helping us reach this goal as every bit makes a difference.
