Hi, I chose to keep my name anonymous for many reasons, however, I would appreciate if you can help me. For as long as I can remember, higher education has been one of my biggest dreams. Three years ago, I was supposed to begin that journey, but life had other plans. Instead of starting university, I entered the workforce with the hope of saving enough money to fund my education. My original dream was to study medicine. After years of hard work and determination, I was accepted into an international program. Unfortunately, despite earning my place, I couldn’t even afford the initial deposit. Watching that opportunity slip away was heartbreaking, and over time, it felt as though my dream was slowly fading. Recently, after much reflection and encouragement from those around me, I realized that pursuing a Bachelor of Laws may be the path I am truly meant to take. Law would allow me to advocate for others, make a meaningful impact, and give back to my community in ways I have always hoped to do. The only obstacle standing in my way is the cost. As much as I have worked and tried to save, tuition and related expenses remain beyond what I can manage alone. As the eldest of six siblings, I’ve naturally spent much of my life putting others before myself. Not because of tragedy or hardship, but because that’s simply the role I’ve always embraced. Supporting my family has always come first, and I have never regretted that. However, for the first time, I am choosing to invest in my own future. I believe that by doing so, I’ll be in an even better position to help those around me for years to come. I’m hoping to begin my Bachelor of Laws program this September, and every contribution—no matter how small—will bring me one step closer to that goal.
