My name is Candra Bal-Deonarinesingh, and I am reaching out on behalf of my sister, Amanda Bal. She is currently warded at the Sangre Grande Hospital and has been given urgent medical instructions — she cannot be discharged until she has a home CPAP machine. My sister is a widow and single mother to two young children, and they need her home with them. She is currently receiving government assistance through Social Welfare, which barely covers their basic needs, so purchasing this medical equipment on her own is impossible.
