My name is Shanice Gervais. I am an artist and dancer, who graduated from the University of Trinidad and Tobago with a Bachelor of Fine Art in the Performing Arts, specializing in dance. Upon completion of my degree, I was awarded a scholarship to attend the prestigious Beijing Dance Academy, as a foreign exchange student, to study Dance for one year. I was recently accepted into Savannah College of Art and Design’s graduate program to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration. I successfully secured a partial scholarship and the money obtained from this fundraiser will be used to cover the balance of my tuition. Studying at SCAD will provide me the tools I need to help advance the art community in Trinidad and Tobago and beyond. With your assistance, I will be able to take the next step toward achieving my goals.
