Straight to the Point was built on a simple principle: giving ordinary people a platform to be heard when they feel ignored, overlooked or forgotten. What started as a television programme has grown into something much bigger. Every day, people reach out to us seeking assistance, justice, answers and a voice. We have stood alongside individuals facing difficult circumstances, brought concerns to public attention and challenged situations where people believe they have been treated unfairly. We go headfirst into the lion’s den. We ask the difficult questions, confront uncomfortable situations and continue pushing for accountability, even when the work comes with challenges. But behind the cameras, the interviews and the broadcasts is a reality that many people do not see. Straight to the Point is not a profit-making operation. We do not make money from the people who come to us seeking help. This work comes with significant financial responsibilities, and much of it has been carried by our own limited resources. WHY WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP Our legal expenses and associated costs have reached approximately TT$64,000. On top of that, we have ongoing operational expenses, including:

• Legal fees and related legal expenses.
• Studio and broadcasting upkeep.
• Camera and streaming equipment.
• Field operations and transportation.
• Communications and administrative expenses.
• The general costs of keeping the platform operational.

We cannot continue carrying these responsibilities alone. That is why we are reaching out to the very public we have worked so hard to serve. EVERY CONTRIBUTION COUNTS We are not asking everyone to give thousands of dollars.
